Let thy food be thy medicine and let thy medicine be thy food

Good nutrition can help boost your energy levels, performance potential, brain/heart health and is key to preventing/reducing affects of chronic degenerative diseases.

Key questions for self reflection:

  • How much water do you currently consume per day?
  • Identify processed foods you eat regularly (cakes, chips, biscuits and so forth)
  • Do you feel the mid-afternoon energy drop?
  • How much caffeine/cups of coffee do you consumedaily?
  • Are you having over 5 servings of fruits and vegetables?
  • Do you have cravings? If yes, what mood are you in and what time do you experience it?
  • Do you feel like if you exercise, you can eat whatever you want?

I double majored in exercise science and nutrition with further studies in raw nutrition, specialising in plant-based diets. Optimal health should be achieved but why not go further and feel fantastic all the time?
